Industrial Revolution - Child Labor

Around1816 the childrens of age 5 would be employed to work in a factory .While working the smallest child in the factories would have to go under the machine while its running.Children had to work from 5 in the morning until 8 at night. The kids had to act like they werent tired because if they did their supervisor would hit them so they can stay awake. These kids only had 1 time of the day 45 min break.
